The City of Frostproof takes pride in maintaining several beautiful public recreation sites, each offering unique opportunities for fun, relaxation, and community connection. Discover the scenic beauty of Lake Clinch Park and Lake Reedy Pier, perfect for lakeside leisure and water activities. Enjoy sports and outdoor fun at Dunham Field, Henderson Field, and Wall Street Park. The Gladys Fewox Memorial Park provides a peaceful retreat with picnic areas, children’s play equipment, a scenic walking track, and exercise stations staged around the track—ideal for family outings and staying active. The surrounding recreation area at Lake Reedy features baseball and softball fields, a shuffleboard court, and racquetball courts—great for friendly competition and active recreation. Plus, our largest facility, the Frostproof Sports Complex, managed by the Polk County School Board, hosts a variety of sporting events and activities for all ages. All of our recreation sites are open daily from sunrise to sunset, providing ample opportunity to enjoy the outdoors. Please note that no animals are allowed in any of our sites, except for service animals, police dogs, and leashed dogs. Gladys Fewox Memorial Park
101 East F Street, Frostproof, FL 33843
The Gladys Fewox Memorial Park is a neighborhood park located between SR 17 and Lake Reedy. The park includes such amenities as a walking area and a play area.
Fewox Park may be reserved on a “first-come” basis for special functions by contacting the Utilities Department at 863-635-7855. The deposit for reservations is $50 and is refundable once the park has been inspected for cleanliness.

Lake Clinch Park and Beach Area

Lake Clinch Park and the beach area are open from Sunrise to Sunset. While visiting our beautiful lake please keep the following rules in mind:
- No vehicles are allowed on the beach or outside the designated parking area
- Boat trailer parking is prohibited along the roadside
- No glass OR alcoholic beverages area allowed
- No skiing or operating a watercraft of any type within 300 feet of the beach area.
- No animals other than service animals, police dogs and leashed dogs are allowed in Lake Clinch Park. Please see our ordinance regarding this information
These rules are enforced by the Polk County Sheriff’s Office.
There are no Life Guards on duty – Swim at your own risk.

Wall Street Park is a 1.8 acre park located in the heart of the downtown and includes two tennis/pickleball courts, a toddler play area, a merry-go-round, a slide, and a number of other play facilities.
